This is a cheaper way of making a net because it is faster and requires no work by hand. The technical term for this type of net is Raschel which is a type of warp knitting in which parallel monofilaments are looped together in a zigzig pattern along the length of the net. Our Woven net is made from two strands of 500 denier filament looped together which is then interlooped at the mesh corners. Your Seine net should be 1½ times longer than the width of your water way. As a result, you will create a wide arch with the net when corralling the fish. Vegetables may be covered all the year round, from planting right up until harvest. If you are growing fruit, just lift the netting during flowering if the crop depends on pollination by bees.

Once you have seined the length of your water you can use our Dip Nets and Fish Cages to retrieve and hold your fish. Available by the running metre just pop number of metres required in quantity box, it will come in one piece.

I bought it to save my carrots from the carrot root fly then realised it should work on my brassicas too so bought a second one as well. Works perfectly, no pest issues on these crops at all this year.The material seems to be of a very good quality, strong and durable. Highly recommended, will definitely buy more later on.

We use 1.0mm braided twine to rig the micromesh netting to 10 mm low stretch quality rope with floats and leadline. You should consider the size of the water you wish to net and certainly the size of your target species when deciding which mesh size will work best.
