About this deal

The Ultra Chorus UC200 pedal enhances your guitar’s tone by making it sound super-thick, plus adds an unbelievably rich stereo effect. it's OK when "cold," but after it's been powered up for a couple of hours, it gets a "howl" going through the amp, which is totally NOT acceptable).

In summary, this is a decent bread-and-butter chorus pedal, with a decent sound with all knobs at noon and provided you don’t overload its input. After dialing around slowly for a while I realized this thing actually has quite a range of sounds I could get out of it. Andertons Music Company is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, firm registration number 716155. The amount of effect is controlled by the "level" pot, which is very handy so you can mix what amount of effect you want into the raw signal without coloring it.Like everyone one else has mentioned the case/housing of this pedal is plastic, so if you got a heavy foot when stomping this bad boy the build quality could be an issue for long term ownership ship.

I sold it and got me a CH-1 from Boss which was a bit more expensive but seems more durable and has a slightly warmer sound imho. As for the DEPTH knob, it can kill the whole chorus effect at the zero position (the effect of the TONE knob remains, though), and provides almost a Leslie effect at its maximum position… so there is something good for me to say about this pedal. The ULTRA CHORUS UC200 pedal enhances your guitar’s tone by making it sound super-thick, plus adds an unbelievably rich stereo effect. In this way, consumers give each other guidance and give us the opportunity to continuously improve. I bought a bunch of these cheap Behringer effects to try out and combine some new sounds, and they haven't let me down. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Albeit this knob does not provide a strong EQ (a simple adjustment of the filter cutoff on the synth is much more effective), the sound that comes from the pedal when TONE is at the extreme positions is quite unpleasant. However, I ran it stereo into my Orange Rocker32 Stereo FX loop and found that the stereo option doesn't work, or seems to cancel itself out.

Plastic shell isnt so bad if you dont plan on kicking it around, but is the only obvious con aside from not being the absolute best sound you can get.The good is that even using very shy chorus (low rate, very low depth and TONE at noon), this pedal can filter out most of the noise generated by the delay circuit in the Volca Keys. If the fault occurs within the first 180 days of your ownership, we'll collect the goods and deliver them back to you free of charge. I have bought several of these newer Behringer pedals, to A/B with my name brand units, and to set up an inexpensive pedal board. The Ultra Chorus is my 7th Beringer pedal and all have been very good (accept for a volume pedal that sounds staticy).

Overdrive is literally what you get when a tube is pushed beyond its voltage limits causing a clip in the top of the waveforms resulting in a slight warm, fat and sometimes, sizzly tone. It has a classic chorus effect, with level, tone, rate (speed) and depth controls, and is very easy to use. You can tell whether a page is secure as 'https' will replace the 'http' at the front of the kennysmusic. Offering up four dedicated dials for sound sculpting, consisting of a Level, Tone, Rate, and Depth controls all of which have to say over different parameters of the guitar's tone.

As I dig into the 200 series pedals, I start to understand that some of their earlier devices were not that great, and I’m happy to witness the brand’s evolution towards a range of good quality (yet affordable) guitar pedals in the latter series.
