I don’t usually nitpick these kinds of things, but turning Superman into a vampire should be far more challenging than it is in this story.

The Queen of Vampires is dead and the peace between humans and vampires is in jeopardy as war is soon to break out. It felt like there should’ve been more to what happens in the final act but instead, readers are left with a huge cliffhanger for future additional volumes to figure out.The only thing going for them is how they've managed to establish the last free human city on Earth, within the newly abandoned city of Kandor. I'm not sure it's really worth 4 stars but I'm actually looking forward to reading the next volume, so that says something. Surprisingly, this story arc further delves into its story with far more depth than any other similar apocalyptic story with a central focus on vampires. Thus once vampires succesfully take over the world, she herself rises undead, without even being bitten. Here they really try, and work at getting you to believe that Barbara Gordon is heart broken over what has happened with Dick Grayson. The story picks up where things were left in the first volume, a story arc that already nailed its premise near-perfectly with a whodunnit kind of mystery until the big reveal that establishes the new dark era of the DC universe.And even still he doesn't consider all of that to be guarantee enough to trust them with the information about Luthor's blood. Taking place before the start of the second half, they focus on Damian Wayne and Harley Quinn, respectively, as they try to navigate this new world. He is also well known for working on the Batman titles at DC Comics, where he co-created the fan-favorite characters Punchline, Ghost-Maker, Clownhunter, Miracle Molly, and more. Seeing as how the Vampire king turned out to be his most skilled protégée and most beloved ward Nightwing.So when I picked up this Elseworlds comic series, my expectations were relatively low despite the creative talent behind it. With heroes and villains alike corrupted into bloodsucking monsters, the conflict has forced both sides to carry out some grim plans -- with the latest issue seeing some serious wins and losses on both sides. I really loved the first volume, but the second half of this 12-issue series seemed a bit all over the place in a way that was a bit hard to keep straight. This is perfect for anyone who wants to read everything or see how the supplemental material fits in with the main series. Hal and how he takes out the threats to the vampires and particularly Barry who was one of his best friends and ahh that's sad and then the stuff with Diana, fighting JL members and all and confronting them and then throwing the suspicion on Batman and also Ollie being involved and his fight with Batman was so funny, I like how these two team up and are essentially the leads on this case.
