And the 9 V battery option allows newscasters and correspondents to use the 1002B in remote locations where power is hard to come by.To handle your input sources, you get five mic preamps, a total of six stereo channels with dual 1/4" inputs, two mono 1/4" inputs, and CD/tape inputs and outputs with RCA connections. The opamps are surface mount, but most other components are through hole and are relatively easy to solder onto. The pan knob now adjusts the balance between the left and right outputs, with the centre position allowing signal to both the left and right outputs. Im confused because ive only worked with a Yamaha MG21 so far and that has seperate red/white RCA connecters seperately for each stereo channels. My "Behringer 2001B" is marked "UBB1002B" on the PCB inside, I belive this mixer is also known as the "Behringer MXB2001". Plz note when I pan right the leds on the right of the VU meter light up and vice versa when I pan left indicating the signal is being routed correctly.
