About this deal

This is another of Garfield’s rare excursions into writing a children’s book definitely written for children. Fair's Fair is a Dickensian-style Christmas story involving a poor, kind orphan, a strange dog, a snow blizzard, a creepy mansion and plenty of mystery. They provide a framework for decision-making, a point of reference against which options can be weighed.

Another was Smith (1967), with the eponymous hero a young pickpocket accepted into a wealthy household; it won the Phoenix Award in 1987. The book is quite short so you don't have to get annoyed because it is taking so long to find out about the end. This is a used book - there is no escaping the fact it has been read by someone else and it will show signs of wear and previous use. The graveyard dead join in the partying and after-hours drinking in the village pub; a lament becomes a celebration of life.It adds force or authority to an utterance by drawing attention to one's personal attitudes, beliefs and opinions.

So, let’s start with Aristotle’s formal principle and work together on the morally difficult task of deciding when it is fair to treat people equally and when it is not fair to do so. An elderly woman sits on a deckchair by a Riverside Theatre sign; a billboard advertises “The Old Time Marionettes”.Although evidence was brought to the Court’s attention challenging the basis of the exclusion of certain creditors from voting, the Court declined to investigate further in the absence of the challenging creditor filing expert evidence of its own and making formal representations at Court. It's a very subtle shift of meaning but it's definitely happening: I've noticed it for a couple of years now. As explained by David Richards J in Telewest, the requirement that a scheme be a "fair" scheme does not mean that the court imposes its own view of what is in the interests of creditors or even what is the "best" scheme. For example, the NHS doesn’t withhold treatment from patients who have knowingly exposed themselves to risk, whether skiers or drug users.

It doesn't just have to mean laying oneself bare in a vulnerable way; it can also be used to announce the removal of euphemism and tact ('to be honest, I'm really wondering why I don't just sack you', 'to be honest, you're getting on my tits').In the case of Re The Great Annual Savings Co Ltd, the Court concluded (at [132]) that the mechanism used to generate the benefits under the Plan (commonly referred to as the ‘restructuring surplus’) was effectively the eradication of debt owed to HMRC and prioritising of payments to various unsecured creditors at HMRC’s expense. The book introduces Jackson as starving, hungry and dirty waiting to eat his hot, steamy pie he had earned. Seller has stated it will dispatch the item within 1 working day upon receipt of cleared payment - opens in a new window or tab .
