EDIT: I don't remember if it's explicitly stated, but I think it was Kiyoya who arranged for Kaya to go to such a strict family. I hadn't expected the fantasy/ghost/demon part of the novel, but I have no complaints, everyone loves a sweet, shy, rich, but hella powerful male lead that can protect the strong female lead.PS: A little tired of all those reincarnation/revenge novels/mangas, so this looks pretty attractive. A manga adaptation illustrated by Rito Kohsaka [ ja] has been serialized in Square Enix's Gangan Online service since December 2018.
