Flavourful Vaping: Thanks to the ITO atomization technology, vapers can enjoy a rich and flavourful experience with every puff of your vape juice. The plastic portion is for a purpose, as it finishes off the shell whilst also visibly exposing the circuitry underneath. Now, the transparent pod shell trend isn’t a new thing (I’ve seen a few manufacturers release their versions of it), but Voopoo employed the material in such a way that it complements the overall look. I have to say that the exposed circuitry and GENE chip look really adds to the futuristic tone of this kit! The kit fits inside the palm quite nicely, and its slim form factor makes it very portable. It doesn’t weigh a lot; however, it is heavier than other pods on the market which are mostly made of plastic. The weight is from the fusion of metal and plastic that comprises the device’s shell. The metal portion is smooth, rounded, and although shiny, doesn’t attract fingerprint smudges! It’s on this metal surface that Voopoo’s distinct branding mainly shows through, with “ARGUS” being present in big, golden lettering. The inhale is completely turbulence free. This has to be one of the quietest vapes I’ve used for a long, long time. Full kudos to Voopoo on that! If you’re looking for an MTL experience, we recommend utilising the 1.2ohm coil with 50VG/50PG e-liquids. However, if you would prefer a sub-ohm vape, shortfill e-liquids with a VG ratio of 70% or higher are best suited.Rapid Charging: Equipped with Type-C charging, the device supports 15W PD lightning charging, reaching a full charge in just 18 minutes. I began by testing the 1.2ohm pod. I used Monster Vape Labs Killer Lemon Tart to test for flavour and cloud production. It’s a 50VG/50PG juice ratio perfectly suited for this coil. The flavour is extremely satisfying. I got plenty of sweetness from the Lemon. The bakery elements are fantastically reproduced. A matte metal body that also features a transparent window on one side. Through this window you can actually see the chipset inside the device. Also, there’s a small bar at the top that reminds me of a heat sink, and is perfect for attaching the lanyard to. Yes, that’s right. The kit comes with a lanyard in the box. I did find that the signals from the LED lights weren’t very intuitive. For instance, when I first opened the vape, adjusted my airflow, and began vaping, only two of the lights would glow—and I was confused, as the device was meant to come with a full battery. One point worth mentioning is that the LED lights are difficult to see while you’re vaping, since they’re obscured by the bar that attaches to the lanyard.We refuse any liability for seized goods or additional custom fees. There’s a 0.7ohm pod, which is the one I used, and also a 1.2ohm pod. To be thorough, I gave the 1.2ohm pod a go and found it to be a tighter draw which is great if that’s what you like. Not for me though, I prefer an airier draw. Never use a battery that has been clearly damaged or is leaking. It should be discarded immediately in an appropriate way. Sleek Design: The Argus P1 boasts a half-metal, half-transparent design, exuding a mechanical and futuristic aesthetic. It took 25 minutes to recharge a flat battery. That’s still very impressive even if not quite what Voopoo claim under PD fast charging. I have no complaints.

Moving on to the airflow, VOOPOO has opted for a slider design, allowing you to precisely change the airflow to either a loose or tight mouth-to-lung draw. Furthermore, the slider seems quite sturdy, enabling you to make more accurate airflow adjustments. The pod features a 4-hole air inlet, which works effectively alongside the airflow system and provides a much smoother throat hit. Power It was possible to get a heavily restricted direct lung pull but that wasn’t an ideal arrangement either. I was expecting a similar if not identical vape to the previous Argus Pod but it turned out to be better due to the innovative ‘Auto-Power’ function which I found to be surprisingly useful, I will do my best to explain it: Auto Power Filling the pods was much less hassle than I anticipated. It was a leak free experience despite the absence of an air release valve. Of course, being sealed there was also no worry of any day to day leakage. The pods remained bone dry throughout the test period.
