About this deal

That being said, I disagree that this tent is suitable for 4 seasons. Despite what Naturehike says, I would recommend this tent only as a 3 season option because I don’t think the fabric is strong enough to withstand heavy snowfall. Ease of Set-Up Naturehike frequently claims that its tents are suitable for 4 seasons. I disagree with this and would ask you to treat the products as 3 season tents for your safety.

Therefore, the Cloud Up 1 is ideal for hikers camping for a few days, but you’d probably want to invest in something lighter for any serious thru-hiking. The Upgrade SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT - This tent is insanely light at only 1460 grams - including pegs and poles!! At the same time it has better waterproofing and is more snow resistant than it's cousins in orange and green. When comparing the weights of these two tents, you’ve got to consider that the FlyCreek HV UL doesn’t come with a ground sheet (which you will need to use because of the thin floor). LIGHTWEIGHT - tipping the scales at 1670 grams (including pegs and poles) these are hardly the porkiest tents you'll pitch!!! Ideal for either lightweight hiking or as a cycling tent. With a waterproof coating of up to 3000mm, the Cloud Up 2 is slightly less water-resistant than the Cloud Up 1. That said, 3000mm is more than enough for most camping conditions, especially if you correctly pitch out the guy lines to prevent moisture from transferring to the inner tent.

Quick Look

The Cloud Up 2 is a slightly larger version of the Cloud Up 1. Officially, it’s a two-person tent, but it would be better for one person who wants more space to spread out or an adult and a child. If you go for the upgraded version, you’ll have a second vent in the sleeping compartment, which will reduce condensation and cool down your tent in the summer. Hi folks. Today on the blog we’re taking a look at the Naturehike Cloud Up Tent. I decided to set this tent up on a sunny day and take a peek at what it can do. Note that I haven’t had the chance to actually go on an overnight trip with this tent yet, so I can’t comment on how it holds up in the elements! But stay tuned for a full review once I’ve had the chance to try it. Let’s dive in and take a look! Overview & Specifications Before investing your hard-earned money in a new tent, you need to know whether it’s the right choice for you. The materials used to make the FlyCreek tent are definitely of a better quality than those of the CloudUp 2. However, according to what people are saying online, the difference is really negligible (again, I personally haven’t tried out the FlyCreek).

I would also prefer to hike with a lighter tent than this one, but I can’t reasonably complain about the weight considering the quality of the materials and the price. Pros & Cons Pros: The Cloud Up performs well in the wind, too. A combination of a strong frame, low peak height, and half-dome design will keep it standing if bad weather rolls in. The biggest difference is that the tent can be freestanding and has an awning. The seams are fully sealed coated with silicone. Equipped with a reinforced mast with aluminum stakes to cut the wind. High density mesh fabric keeps bugs out.

Weather Conditions:High humidity, low temperatures, and rainy conditions create the most condensation.
