For milder month wild camping, this tent is a good option, but there are better available from other brands at a similar price. The front porch area has a big groundsheet that rolls out of the way when you don’t need it. However, we had lots of wet ground at our pitch so it was greatly appreciated and a very handy feature. There was plenty of room for us all and we made full use of the large front porch area to cook in.The is a great tent for those who want extra storage space for their gear, as well as more than adequate protection from the rain. With storage on either side of the main sleeping area, you should be able to store all the gear you take with you. After months of searching and disagreements we bought 13 of these for out Scout group about a year ago. Overall very good - easy to put up, splits into 2 bags for easier carrying if hiking with (both go into an even bigger outer bag if no need to split). Our Scouts love them and find easy to put up and down which is a bonus. If you are after something that offers good protection from pretty much any UK weather, this tent could be ideal for you.
