What Maison Francis Kurkdjian have done here, is to create a very safe modern rose, vanilla and oud combo. And they nailed it! Now, for those of you who don’t know… Luxury Intense Café opens with a blend of sweet rose, white florals and vanilla… mixed with a hint of sweet creamy coffee. Sweet Creamy Coffee Scent: Tom Ford Tobacco Oud is a rather interesting fragrance, as it’s quite bold and even a little masculine. Immediately from the opening, you’re greeted by a strong scent of whiskey and tobacco, making for an unapologetic opening. Shortly thereafter, the note of oud is added, giving the fragrance a dark undertone and making it a little woody. As this fragrance dries down, a soft hint of smoky can be detected, as well as a nice and sweet dry down of vanilla.

This is super-versatile: all seasons — all occasions (also office friendly). Perfect for the spring and summer (and more suited for daytime usage). And is also more suited for night time usage: dates, romantic, formal, special occasions, etc… (This is not an office-friendly type scent.) Furthermore, it’s soon joined with a pinch of oud and patchouli — which give it a slightly woody earthy quality. However, the citrus and ginger balance it out and keep it smelling light and zesty. This is from Armani’s Privé Collection. This collection are higher-quality and more exclusive than typical Armani fragrances (and also more expensive). Scent: Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud Satin Mood is an extremely nice fragrance with a rich and sweet scent. This fragrance immediately opens with a sweet scent of vanilla, supported by the notes of rose and violet. This creates a magnificent scent that almost smells fruity. Shortly thereafter, a soft and smooth touch of oud is added, giving the fragrance a rich undertone and some depth. As this fragrance starts to dry down, a sweet scent of benzoin makes itself known, blending in beautifully with the vanilla and rose. Overall, you’re left with a luxurious, classy, and elegant fragrance with an incredible scent.Best for: Atelier Cologne Oud Saphir is a lovely fragrance that’s best worn during the colder months. Here, the rich scent of leather and oud works perfectly with the lower temperatures and will be great in pretty much every situation. It’s classy and luxurious enough for formal wear and interesting enough for casual day or nighttime wear. 10. Rather, it complements who you really are. Its vibrant yet gentle mix of oud and rose notes is symbolic of your multifaceted personality. You can be strong yet sweet, sexy yet pure, and hopeful yet realist and the fragrance will suit you not just fine, but perfectly. TOP NOTES Notes: The top note of Christian Dior Oud Ispahan is labdanum. The middle notes are saffron, rose, and patchouli. The base notes are cedar, oud, and sandalwood. More for fall and winter night-time usage. I wouldn’t recommend applying this in the high-summer heat. Not good.

Please don’t judge this fragrance by the initial strong opening. Be patient and wait until it dries down — for the magic to happen. 🙂 Stay with me… Praline & Vanilla This is NOT a powerhouse projection perfume. In fact, it’s quite subtle, yet it has decent lasting power.Notes: The notes of Montale White Aoud are jasmine, amber, cardamom, vanilla, oud, vetiver, labdanum, sandalwood, saffron, rose, and patchouli. So needless to say, this is more suited for the well-dressed 20-up crowd. And to be clear, this is not a typical teenybopper sweet type of scent; it’s a very sophisticated and well put together fragrance. This is super versatile: All seasons all occasions, and would make a beautiful signature scent. However, this is more suited for the mature crowd — so suggest 20-up. This smells super high-quality and is perfectly blended. The scent has a delicious praline note, which rakes in some nice compliments. Important note: Montale use super lightweight aluminium bottles. And because they are so light, when you receive a new bottle, it can feel like it’s not full. This is normal (but causes a LOT of confusion).

This is super-versatile: all seasons, all occasions — days or nights (but go easy with the sprayer in the high-heat). This is unisex, but leans slightly towards the feminine side. Best for: Versace Oud Oriental is a fantastic cold-weather fragrance, perfect for the fall and winter. During these months, you can easily wear this fragrance casually throughout the day, at night, or even formally. Because of the subtleness of the oud, this fragrance doesn’t come across too strong, making it perfect for most settings. Best for: Comme Des Garcons Daphne is a great fragrance that you can wear all year long, but leans more towards the colder and cooler months. During these months, you can wear it either casually or formally.
