About this deal

It is reputedly the favourite drink of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as a Dubonnet and gin (2:1) with ice and lemon. Naturally flavoured by plants and spices, this elegant aperitif from France is patiently aged in oak barrels in cool, dark cellars. Before Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in June, Dubonnet sold out for a period, Waitrose revealed, and sales were up 50 per cent on last year. While it originated in France, you can find it for sale in many countries including the United States, United Kingdom and others.

Popular cocktails made with Dubonnet include the Boulevardier, Negroni and especially the iconic Dubonnet Cocktail made with Dubonnet Rouge, gin and orange juice or lemon juice.
