The day I bought it I began making her 'simple', delicious and colorful recipes for myself an a family who loved them. In fact, I used her "Grilled Cheese Party" idea for a family gathering yesterday and it was a big hit!

When it comes to cookbooks I'm really picky, but the moment I saw this one I knew without even opening it that I had found a treasure. Erin’s goal is to inspire people to be creative at home, to cook more with vegetables, and to share meals together.Generally, I do not care for the mixing of sweet and savory flavors, but these flavors paired well together and it was gorgeous. The pictures alone are gorgeous, but I also really liked how recipes were grouped into meals, and not organized by types (appetizers, desserts, etc). The project gave me the opportunity to value teamwork, engage with local authorities and the community while learning about local practices, the community's issues, and traditions.

I then shot for cookbooks, magazines, top chefs and restaurants,The New York Times Dining section, and The James Beard Foundation and I taught photography to college students at The Fashion Institute of Technologyfor 4 years. But the reality, is that when you actually break it all down to what the actual content is - the recipes - there really isn't a whole lot there! Erin also teaches photography at the college level and works as a freelance food photographer and illustrator.Vibrant photographs, complemented by Erin’s own fanciful watercolor illustrations and hand lettering, showcase the rustic simplicity of the dishes. Sponsored by synagogues and other Jewish organizations throughout the Peninsula and featuring a vast array of entertainment, activities, exhibits and presentations on sustainability, the fair will include a robust children’s program. If you are looking for new and tasty predominantly vegetarian dishes this may be a pass, but if you are looking to be inspired by food, colors and backdrop this could be the book for you. Working and studying at an international level, in the thriving urban context of Milan, the rural area of Fangkou Village in China, and the UK South Coast has helped me develop an understanding of the changing economical, geographical, and social conditions, as well as how to work with the different local authorities and regulations while listening to the communities' needs.
