Description

Combining flavours of orange and currants with the warming spices of cinnamon, ginger, allspice, rosemary, coriander, and angelica, the resulting juniper-led gin has a fruity and robust finish, fit for a king. It is recommended served with Fever-Tree tonic, ice, and a slice of orange. The 70cl bottle has been designed with a patriotic red, white and blue colour scheme with the official coronation emblem on the seal of the lid. Salcombe Distilling Co. co-founder Howard Davies said: "The non-alcoholic space is exciting and fast-growing, and has provided us with an opportunity to get creative by exploring innovative techniques and processes. It is said King Charles likes a Martini every night before dinner, however his exact preference for how it is served is unknown. We might assume, however, that he might opt for a gin he has an affinity with, such as Hepple Gin. In 2018, Hepple welcomed King Charles III to its estate in Northumbria where he planted his own juniper tree. To create the triad of new whiskies, the spirit was first matured in American Oak (Quercus Alba) ex-Bourbon Barrels before undergoing a finishing period of approximately 18 months in the different oak varieties.

Distilled at The City of London Distillery, the first and only gin distillery in the heart of London for more than 200 years, Whitley Neill Connoisseur’s Cut Gin is a classic London Dry expression that sits at 47% ABV, letting the rich juniper and citrus notes shine through. The term “virgin oak” refers to wood that has not previously been used to age any other wine or spirit, meaning the only influence on the whisky is the oak alone, with the brand setting out to explore the impact of oak on flavour and development during the maturation process through these serves. In the summer of 2007, King Charles III declared The English Distillery officially open. The dram-loving monarch even took ownership of a few of the maturing casks, making the Norfolk-based distillery one of his preferred English whisky producers. London-based Meantime Brewing Company has teamed up with Record Store Day UK (RSDUK) to create Double Groove (4.7% ABV). Double Groove features 50% US & 50% UK varieties, bringing together complementary flavours to create a distinct and unique beer.

A blend of more than 53 rare malt and grain whiskies, the Royal Salute Coronation of King Charles III Edition is a rich and complex expression with notes of fresh redcurrants, dark chocolate praline, and freshly roasted chestnuts, and a palate of sweet figs and fresh ginger leading up to a long and rich finish with a playful spice. Raising a glass to the highly anticipated coronation of King Charles III is Silent Pool, a brand that is no stranger to commemorative royal bottlings. Releasing an exclusive Coronation Gin ‘fit for a royal’, the limited edition blue and purple bottle is said to be the perfect tipple for enjoying at a street party. With its rich London heritage and quality London Dry gin distilling credentials, Whitley Neill is perfectly positioned to help maximise this opportunity with the launch of this striking Limited Edition Coronation Gin offering.

Whitley Neill, the UK’s number one premium gin brand [1], has launched a limited edition bottle of its Connoisseur’s Cut London Dry Gin to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III. Halewood Artisanal Spirits global marketing director Rachel Adams said: “With an extra Bank Holiday and a weekend full of celebrations, the coronation will present a huge sales opportunity for retailers and licensees this May. This English whisky was created using Plumage Archer barley grown on the Highgrove Estate in Gloucestershire, England, and was distilled, matured, and bottled exclusively by the Cotswolds Distillery. Distilled at The City of London Distillery, the Connoisseur's Cut Gin (47% ABV) offers notes of juniper and citrus.

Salcombe Distilling Co. has announced a portfolio of non-alcoholic spirits and aperitifs, New London Light, consisting of three new serves. To mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012, the newest still at the City of London was named Elizabeth after the late Queen. It is on this still that all Whitley Neill’s London Dry Gins are made, including the Connoisseur’s Cut Gin in this special release. To mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012, the City of London unveiled a new still called Elizabeth after the late Queen. It is on this still that all Whitley Neill’s London Dry gins are made, including this special release. Now, to mark his coronation, The English has unveiled the latest bottling in its Royal range. The Royal range is bottled only on the birth, marriage, coronation or jubilee of those in direct line to the throne. These are rare events that the distillery believes should be celebrated, making the resulting collection of whiskies well worth owning and drinking. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.It comes from a specially selected shaved, toasted, and re-charred ex-red wine cask, which offers a rich and intense maturation to the fruity new make spirit, boasting strong notes of toffee, chocolate, and red fruits, as well as a deep colour.
