Poems that I liked: Perception, reminder, depart, nightfall, heavy heart, detrimental, ambition, deceitful, unmask, snowfall, reluctant, wounds ( made me laugh), flourish, mislead, torment, drastic, aspiration, rouse, uncertain, liberated, coax, loops. Maybe they enter someone else’s mind, or land in a pile of prayers, that mercilessly stack in front of God. Through simple and relatable statements and poems, I found that Yousaf was able to play delicately with my heart. from start to finish, miss charlotte has held me captive in her beautifully written book- like truly, the writing is just so poetic and dreamy and romantic and i felt like every page had something worth highlighting. I recommend to all those interested in this new style of poetry, which is written in few lines but resonates and relates deeply to many situations today. He started writing when he was younger, and has since fallen in love with all kinds of different poetry that the world has to offer.They reveal the treasure to be found both in quiet moments alone and in encounters with other people, and they help us celebrate these and the value to be found in our everyday lives. Each poem was beautifully written and was like releasing a breath of toxic air to clear your lungs to inhale fresh air. I will say that this one was a little more difficult to get into because it seemed to lack a specific structure and there wasn’t really a smooth “flow” to the topics discussed in this collection.
