Buzzbee Cleans Up: Animated series. Buzzbee and Barnabee are horrified at the mess in the playground, then realise they made it. They clean up, then campaign to keep it clean. [S] S1 Ep18

Buzzbee's Secrets: Buzzbee has earnt a reputation for not being able to keep a secret. The final straw comes when he accidentally tells Jasper what his birthday present is. [S] S1 Ep55 I loved Little Bee but I did not feel any affection for the adults in this novel and once they were introduced things went down hill dramatically, what came afterward seemed like it was written by a different author. There were far too many events that made no sense and did nothing but detract from the story. Babee's Room: Buzzbee and Rubee are in competition to provide the most welcoming bedroom for the newest member of the family - Babee! [S] S1 Ep2 What is so simple and straight-forward for Charlie is complicated for his parents, each of them changed in different ways from their time in Nigeria. Charlie thinks like Little Bee. He sees baddies everywhere and hides in the garden pretending he’s in the jungle. Bee, however, compares her childhood games with those of English kids.

You’re young, Bee. You don’t know how the world works yet. All you’ve seen is trouble, so you think trouble is all you’re going to get.’ Not So Happy Help: Animated series for preschool children. Happy is determined to make a swing by himself, but the best solutions come when you listen to new ideas. [S] S1 Ep16 a b Lake, Ed (3 October 2008). "Review: The Other Hand by Chris Cleave". The Daily Telegraph. London . Retrieved 25 January 2010.

Little Bee” is the one of the most staggeringly beautiful books I have ever read; the voices, thoughts, and hearts of your characters are so incredibly moving. “Bee” is refreshingly well-written and the characters are so fully realized that I felt like I was walking down the beach or through the London streets with Bee. I could see myself under the boat with her. I could feel Batman’s little hand in my hand. a b c d Kaminski, Margot (15 March 2009). " 'Little Bee,' by Chris Cleave". San Francisco Chronicle . Retrieved 25 January 2010. Anyhoo, on with The Other Hand (or is it Little Bee)? This book is one of those - you know - it's one of those stories where a tragic event occurs and the real story is how people's lives intertwine and fall apart and lump in a heap together afterwards.

Bumblebees

The Big Push and Pull: Mr Millipede forgets to charge the new eco-electric car up before he gives it a test run and it ends up stranded. [S] S2 Ep68 Dear Cathy, many thanks to you and your book club for reading Little Bee. I hope your discussion will be fun! In answer to your questions: Happy Butterfly: An animated series for preschool children about a young hedgehog. Happy feels very excited waiting for some caterpillars to turn into butterflies. [S] S1 Ep10 Birthday Bee: Buzzbee and Rubee have ideas for Pappa Bee's birthday, and try to keep them secret from each other. But when the surprises are unveiled they are the ones surprised. [S] S1 Ep7

Sad words are just another beauty. A sad story means, the storyteller is alive. The next thing you know, something fine will happen to her, something marvelous, and then she will turn round and smile." If this book had just been about the relationship of two women who share a horrible event in their history, then this could have been a great book for me. But the 'issues' that were folded into this story left me feeling a little unsatisfied. One needs to be ballsy when dealing with these kinds of issues, if one is going to include them in their book. One needs to be willing to make it REAL, to make the reader ache for the characters that go through the things you show them. I've read a lot of gut-wrenching books. I was hoping that this would be one that would make me sit up and take notice... but it didn't. I cry foul. The story unfolds as other stories unfold. Nothing is surprising, nothing happens that you could not see coming chapters earlier. There is nothing new in this book ... not in terms of writing, not in terms of plot, not in terms of structure. I understand the publishing behemoth and the machinations it goes through to build a buzz. It’s just so full of itself sometimes that I want to scream into a pillow. And this was one of those times I wanted to scream into a pillow.

Postman Buzzbee: When Postman Spider takes a tumble, Buzzbee helps out with the deliveries and is delighted to receive lots of letters thanking him for his hard work. [S] S1 Ep1 I had hoped this would be a really incredible gut-wrencher, heartbreaker of a book, but I feel like it didn't really live up to the potential it had. Like it was a little scattered and unfocused, so instead of showing us exactly what we should see, we are instead shown the things that lie around the thing that we should see, and we have to put the picture of the thing together on our own. Buzzbee's Teddy Bee: Colourful animated series for pre-schoolers featuring the Bee family, who live together in Honeybee Hive. Jasper teases Buzzbee for having a teddy bee. [S] S1 Ep8
