Cherry – This is a warm shade ideal for use on Mahogany, Rosewood, Cherry or any wood that needs a warm red rich finish. Light Brown – Mainly used on lighter timbers that you want to add a subtle shade and warmth to the grain of the wood. Antique Brown – This is very popular on new woods as it produces a light honey brown shade, offering a slightly antique look. Fiddes Supreme Wax Polish is recommended to give excellent results on sealed or bare interior wood. Fiddes Supreme Wax Polish contains an exclusive, environmentally friendly blend of waxes that naturally enhances the beauty of your wood.

Rugger Brown - a rich oak colour and the final finish will vary from a medium to a dark oak look depending on the timber used. Driftwood- typically a darker version of our Light Driftwood finish with a mix of natural wood tones and some similarities to a pine-coloured wood. Sand in stages, starting with a medium sandpaper through to a medium/fine grade, following the direction of the grain. Apply the product with even pressure using a cotton cloth, brush or sponge, again following the grain. Lightly wipe with a clean cloth to remove excess polish. Allow to dry and buff to your desired level of sheen with a soft cloth.By drill buffing brush - let the bristles do the work. If you push down on the bristles they will start to soften and remove the wax from the surface of the wood

Apply the wax using very fine 0000 wire wool or buffing cloth in the direction of the grain and allow soaking into the wood.

Take a clean cotton cloth, sponge or brush and apply in the direction of the wood grain where possible. To obtain a uniform colour, always wipe evenly, blending the Supreme Wax over the whole surface area by exerting a small degree of pressure when applying by hand. Take care to lightly remove any excess Supreme Wax immediately with a separate, clean absorbent cloth, again following the direction of the grain pattern. For best results, we recommend cleaning the surface first using Priory Polish Reviver using very fine wire wool. This will remove the dirt, grease ready for treatment of the wax finish. This will also give you the best sheen and add to the depth of the colour and finish.

Light– A clear wax that maintains the existing, natural colour of the wood without changing the colour too much. This is ideal if you want to show the grain without darkening the wood.

Surfaces treated with Fiddes Supreme Wax Polish can be dry wiped with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove surface dust. For minor surface stains, scuffs and marks, wipe with a slightly dampened (not wet) cloth with water and Fiddes Floor Surface Cleaner. Rugger Brown – This is a tone of brown mainly used on hardwoods such as Oak and Walnut but is also a good alternative on Elm and Pine woods for a slightly darker shade. Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times. Several coats may be added as the Wax provides a depth of finish that revives and protects any original patina of your wood.
